9.7.3 Credit Union

The Michigan Tech Employees' Federal Credit Union is a non-profit cooperative owned by its member/savers. Member services include: travelers' checks, share drafts, night depository, ATM, a drive-up service window, child's saving/teen loan programs, and cash/check cards. Competitive rates are offered on a variety of savings and loan products. For a complete list of products and services contact the credit union (487-2618) or stop in at the office which is located on the corner of Sharon (700 E. Sharon) and Portage. The field of membership includes all employees of MTU, their spouses and children, faculty and staff at Suomi College, and teachers from many of the local school districts. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
