9.6.1 Center for Teaching, Learning and Faculty Development

The Center is devoted to the continuous improvement of the educational processes of the University. The Center collects and disseminates material pertinent to pedagogical issues facing the academic community, participates in the orientation of faculty and graduate assistants, and administers the teaching evaluation program. The Center also offers an on-going series of programs and seminars designed to foster the collaborative development of instructional programs and practices.

The Center works with the administration to foster faculty development initiatives and seeks grants and institutional funding for instructional and professional enrichment activities. The Center also provides individual consultations for those seeking to improve teaching effectiveness.
