Chapter 4. Faculty Development
The University encourages faculty development through attendance at conferences, presenting papers, and participating in and holding offices in professional and learned societies, within the parameters of departmental budget and policy. Such activities foster personal development and also bring national and international recognition to the University.

To reflect current University titles and practice, MTU is now Michigan Tech and the email
