The Vice President for Advancement is the senior administrative officer responsible for the functions of development, alumni relations, and university marketing and communications. The Vice President: 1) leads the planning and execution of fund raising programs to secure private gifts in support of the University and its priorities; 2) ensures the creation and implementation of programming to engage alumni with the objective of maintaining productive, life-long relationships with that constituency; 3) takes responsibility for the planning and execution of a university-wide integrated marketing and communications program to promote its programs and communicate effectively with external and internal audiences.
