The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the senior academic officer. This executive works with students, faculty, staff, and administrators in the development, efficient execution, and continuous improvement of University programs. This executive serves as chief operating officer responsible for academic and research programs, student services, and budget planning, and for the internal operations and administration of the University. The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs acts as chief executive officer in the absence of the President.
