The Vice President for Governmental Relations and Secretary of the Board of Control serves as the chief administrative officer in areas of governmental and legal activities and as secretary of the Board of Control. This executive is responsible for developing and directing the operations of policies, procedures, plans, and programs governing federal and state relations and legal activities of the University; serving and communicating to the Board of Control; and advising, making recommendations to, and assisting the president in the formulation of overall University objectives, policies, and plans as assigned to the division. Internal Audit reports to the Board of Control through the board secretary.
