For planning purposes, here is the schedule for the Fall 2006 New Faculty / GTA Orientation.  All sessions will be held in the Annex of Wadworth Hall and lunch will be provided each day.  A detailed schedule will be sent to the departments later this summer.

New GTA Orientation:
Monday, August 28, 2006 (9:00-1:00) :  International GTAs new to MTU - Part I
Thursday, August 31, 2006 (9:30-10:45):  New Non-international GTAs who did not attend Michigan Tech as undergraduates
Thursday, August 31, 2006, 11:00-1:00 (Wadsworth Annex):  ALL new Non-international GTAs  (This session is for the students who attended the 9:30-10:45 session and also for those students who attended Michigan Tech as undergraduates.)
Friday, September 1, 2006 (10:00-1:00):  New International GTAs - Part II
Saturday, September 2, 2006 (time to be announced): Bus tour of the Keweenaw. Priority will be given to international students who are new to Michigan Tech.  Contact the Center for International Programs and Services.

New Faculty Orientation:
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 (9:00-1:00):  Instructional personnel (excluding GTAs) new to Michigan Tech with one year or less teaching experience.
Wednesday, August 30, 2006 (10:00-1:00):  ALL instructional personnel (excluding GTAs) new to Michigan Tech (including those that attended the Tuesday session).
