On Monday, October 23 and Tuesday, October 24, Sean Kosofsky from the Triangle Foundation , Michigan’s statewide civil rights, advocacy and anti-violence organization for Gay, lesbian bisexual and transgender person’s, will be on campus so work with faculty, staff, students and administrators.   We recently finalized his arrival and department times and we are working on his workshop/presentation topics and titles. 
 
The schedule for his visit is listed below.  As soon as we have finalized his session topics I will send out an email and promotional materials will be forthcoming.  Please mark you calendars for this great professional development opportunity.  Thank you. Chris
 
 
Monday, October 23
5:00-6:30 pm in the MUB Ballroom; beverages and light snacks will be served--- Student Session
 
7:00-8:30 pm Dinner with Keweenaw Pride
 
Tuesday, October 24
8:00-11:00 am in the Alumni Lounge–Session with faculty, chairs, deans and staff  (please encourage your staff to attend also)
 
11:45 am-1:45 pm in the Alumni Lounge–Session with student affairs staff and other interested staff and local counselors
 
2:00-3:00 pm meeting with President Mroz
 
3:00-4:00 pm TBD–most likely a closer look at legal issues
