Subject: Phi Kappa Phi call for leaders

Phi Kappa Phi is the equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa in terms of national honor societies. Tech has had a chapter for 50 years.  A few years ago, a Tech student and PKP initiate won their graduate fellowship.

We have openings for new leaders for PKP. Would you ask your faculty and staff if they would be interested?

At present I am the president of PKP.  I would like to move the job to another member of the Tech faculty.  It is not too onerous--signing invitations and talking at the initiation. If the new leader wanted to do more, that would be great.

Dr. Paul Nelson has long been the secretary treasurer. He is the one who usually gets the invitations out to students. He has a very clear process.  He would welcome the idea of training a new person next year. This would be good for faculty or staff.

Please have any interested individuals give me a call.
