Subject: Pre-proposals for future SFHI

Good afternoon all,

After some minor adjustments based on the comments received at the last Academic Forum and
the Tech-Talks Research session on Sustainability, the attached template and sample for
pre-proposals for future SFHIs are being distributed.  These will also be posted on the
Tech-Talks Research Blackboard page located at www.courses.mtu.edu.

Directions for completion and submission of the pre-proposals are included on the
template. The sample was put together by myself and Lesley using the information available
on the current SFHI website and is not intended to be complete but representative of the
information to include.

There is no established or hard deadline but it is suggested that they be submitted by the
end of the academic year.
