To update from yesterday:

- We understand that we will receive the new order from MERC today. We
have not received it yet and do not know what it will say regarding the
union's motion to clarify, but we are proceeding under the assumption
that we will get it today. That means that we intend to meet with the
union during the scheduled negotiating sessions next week.

- We are also going to proceed with the posting of the notice ordered by
the decision in the unfair labor practice, beginning today. Ellen's
office will coordinate with departmental staff to implement the
posting. This will proceed very similarly to the way we posted the
election notice in 2004.
