To update you on the status of negotiations between the University and the
faculty union, we re-entered negotiations on Wednesday, and met Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday of this week. The status of each proposal at the end
of the previous negotiations was reviewed, both parties presented several
new versions of proposals, and the two parties signed groundrules for the
negotiations.

The next negotiating session will be April 20.

Gina will be maintaining the website showing the status and most recent
copies of proposals for each article. I'll send the URL around early next
week after she gets the site updated to reflect this week's activities.
