7.1.1.1. Room Reservation


Procedure

For an off-campus group to schedule a room in a University facility, have them do the following:

  1. Contact the secretary of Special Academic Programs by telephone (7-2262), e-mail <sap@mtu.edu>, or memo, and indicate the proposed event name, date, time, location, and identify the target audience.


  2. The secretary of Special Academic Programs will find an appropriate space, make the reservation, and provide the appropriate paperwork (such as a contract and rental fee agreement).


  3. Inform the secretary of Special Academic Programs of any changes in the event.


For on-campus groups to schedule a room in a University facility, do the following, or have C&I reserve the room:

  1. If a room in an academic building is desired, contact the office of Student Records and Registration, by calling 7-2319.


  2. If the use of a non-academic facility or a room is desired, contact the appropriate building manager, as follows:
