7.1. Special Academic Programs

Special Academic Programs: A unit of Educational Opportunity comprised of three areas, Conferences & Institutes (C&I), Youth Programs (YP), and National Student Exchange (NSE), that consolidates information for special academic events/programming in one central location.

Michigan Tech students, staff, faculty, departments, and organizations should notify the department of Educational Opportunity when planning conferences, institutes, youth programs or events, and programs that are not already being offered in collaboration with Educational Opportunity. Special Academic Programs will then direct inquiries to appropriate individual departments or may provide assistance if requested.
