5.1.3. Addressing the Board through Public Comments

Definition

Public Comments: At each regular Board of Trustees meeting a maximum of fifteen minutes shall be reserved for comments from the public. Each individual will be restricted to a maximum of three minutes for their presentation. No written or formal request is required to address the Board during the public comments section.

Procedure

To address the Board of Trustees during the public comments section, do the following:

  1. Be present at the meeting; when the chair of the Board asks for public comments, stand and state name, affiliation, if any, and desired comments.

  2. Limit comments to three minutes.
