23.3.1. Use of Runs and Lifts

Policy

Individuals wishing to use any of the Mont Ripley Ski Hill runs must obtain a daily lift ticket or season pass. Any desired alpine skiing equipment may be rented from the Rental/Repair Shop.

Skiers must have their lift tickets visible at all times. Daily ticket holders must be able to prove identification with a pictured ID card. Each season pass must have a photograph of the holder.

A refund or raincheck will be available to daily lift ticket holders when both lifts close due to poor weather conditions or mechanical failure.


Procedure

To obtain a lift ticket or season pass, do the following:

  1. Request a lift ticket or season pass from the service desk attendant.


  2. Complete and sign required agreements.


  3. Make required payments at the service desk.


  4. NOTE: Refer to the Mont Ripley Ski Hill Rates Schedules for appropriate charges, fees, etc., available from a service desk attendant or refer to the Web site <http://www.aux.mtu.edu/ski/>.

To purchase a season pass by payroll deduction, do the following:

  1. Request a Payroll Deduction form from the service desk attendant.


  2. Complete the payroll deduction form with the help of the attendant.


  3. The employee must sign the form.
