Section 23.4. Portage Lake-Golf Course

23.4.4. Clubhouse Facility Rental

The Portage Lake Clubhouse is available at no cost for many University functions. It is also available for general public use on a rental basis. Arrangements for use of the clubhouse are to be made through the Golf Course manager. All reservation requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the desired scheduled event or rental.

To reserve the clubhouse, do the following:

1. Contact the Golf Course manager, in writing or by calling 7-2641, to check the availability of the clubhouse and request a reservation, giving the following information:



1. Name of department, organization, or group.



2. Name and telephone number of person requesting reservation.



3. Date and period of time requested.



4. Anticipated size of group.



5. For University groups where a charge for set-up and tear-down may be incurred, a valid University index number is required.


NOTE: For non-University groups, complete and sign agreements provided by the Golf Course manager.


2. If a non-University group, make required payments at the Golf Course manager's office.




Catering arrangements may be made with the Memorial Union manager's office by calling 7-2543.
