Section 23.4. Portage Lake-Golf Course

23.4.2. Tee Off Reservation/Registration

Reservations for a tee off time is required for play between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day, and may be arranged up to 48 hours in advance. Tee times are arranged on the first-come, first-served basis. Failure to make a reserved tee time will cancel the reservation and will need to be rescheduled and may be liable for a penalty charge.

All play must begin on the number 1 or the number 10 hole only, and all players must register at the clubhouse before entering the course.

To play golf at the Portage Lake-Golf Course, do the following:

1. Reserve a tee off time, in person at the Pro Shop or by calling 7-2641.



2. Immediately prior to the reserved tee time:



1. Present the membership pass card at the Pro Shop.



2. If not a Portage Lake-Golf Club membership pass card holder, pay the required amount at the Pro Shop.


NOTE: Refer to the Golf Club Rate Schedule for appropriate charges, fees, and rates for services from a pro shop attendant or refer to the Web site <http://www.aux.mtu.edu/golf/>.


3. Sign the Daily Register Sheet.


NOTE: Players failing to make their reserved tee time will need to reschedule and may be liable for a penalty charge.
