23.3.5. Chalet Rental

The Mont Ripley Ski Chalet is available for many University functions. It is also available for general public use on a rental basis. Arrangements for use of the chalet are to be made through the mountain manager. All reservation requests must be made at least one week in advance of the desired scheduled event or rental.

To reserve the chalet, do the following:

1. Contact the mountain manager, in writing or by calling 7-2340, to check the availability of the chalet and request a reservation, giving the following information:



1. Name of department, organization, or group.



2. Name and telephone number of person requesting reservation.



3. Date and period of time requested.



4. Anticipated size of group.



5. For University groups where a charge for set-up and tear-down may be incurred, a valid University index number is required.


NOTE: For non-University groups, complete and sign agreements provided by the mountain manager.



2. If a non-University group, make required payments at the Central Ticket office in the SDC or the Cashier's office in the Administration and Student Services Building.

Catering arrangements may be made with the Memorial Union manager's office by calling 7-2543.
