22.1.6. Pricing Agreements

Definition

Pricing Agreements: A negotiated agreement, between the vendor and the University, on a price for a service or item being purchased.

Most requisitioners are aware of Web sites, catalogs, and other current pricing resources. If a price cannot be determined from such resources, the price is established through estimating, negotiation, or competitive bid.
