21.1.3. Abandoned Vehicles

Abandoned Vehicles: Vehicles parked in prohibited areas for 48 hours or more will be considered abandoned.

No vehicle is to be abandoned on campus, and will be towed away. The owner of the vehicle, shown on file, is responsible to pay the fine and towing costs, if abandonment occurs.

To retrieve a towed away vehicle, do the following:

1. Contact the Public Safety Department by calling 7-2216 and inquire as to the total amount due for the fine and towing charges, and where the vehicle is stored.



2. Pay the fine and towing charges as directed by Public Safety.



3. Arrange a time to meet a Public Safety officer to retrieve the vehicle.
