18.3. Emergency Reporting

Emergency: Any situation posing a threat to the building, its occupants, or the environment, including the public water treatment system, that is beyond the ability of the building occupants to safely control.

18.3.1. Reporting Any Emergency

To report an emergency, from a campus telephone:

1. Dial 8 9 1 1 or 1 2 3.



2. Say "this is an emergency" and give the following information:



1. What the emergency is.



2. Where the emergency is located.



3. Your name and phone number.



4. Remain on the phone until released by the operator.
