15.2.2. Food Service and Catering

General Information

The Memorial Union food service provides food/beverage delivery service for meetings, banquets, and receptions held on or off campus. Arrangements should be made at least two weeks in advance to ensure quality results. There will be an additional charge for reservations made within 24 hours of the event.

Procedure

To request food service (catering), do the following:

1. Contact the Memorial Union manager's office by calling 7-2543, giving the following information:



1. Name of department, organization, or group.



2. The date and time food service is desired.



3. Name and phone number of a contact person.



4. Anticipated size of group.



5. Building name and room number if delivery and food set-up is desired.


NOTE: If the event is being held in the Memorial Union, be sure to schedule the room, via the Memorial Union Manager's office.


6. A valid University index number to be charged or a billing address.


NOTE: Catering rates are available in the MUB Catering Guide which is available from the Memorial Union manager's office.
