13.1.5. Patron Identification

Policy

To use the services of the Library, a patron must have one of the following acceptable forms of identification (an * indicates that the patron must also present a pictured ID):

• Michigan Tech Student Tech Express Card



• Michigan Tech Student Spouse Tech Express Card (current issue)



• Michigan Tech Faculty/Staff Tech Express Card



• Michigan Tech Faculty Extended Privileges Card (see section 13.3.1. Borrowing Privileges for Faculty)



• Michigan Tech Library Courtesy Card *


Courtesy Card Eligibility: Must be age 18 or older, and a resident of Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga or Ontonagon County. Includes faculty and student spouses, and alumni and their families. Courtesy Card patrons shall have no more than five books checked out at any one time. The card is issued by the Circulation department and has an expiration date.
