13.6.4. Reference Service

Definition

Reference and Instruction Services: Assists Library patrons in locating information and in using Library resources; provides course-integrated Library instruction and materials; offers Library tours, courses, individualized instruction, and guides; and assists faculty with the preparation of Library-related instruction and assignments.

To request assistance or information from the Reference and Instruction Services staff, go to the Reference and Government Information Desk on the first floor or telephone 7-2507, or refer to the Library's Web page and click on "Library Forms".
