Chapter 13. Library
General Information
The Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections are housed on the third floor of the Library. Other information and policies may be found at the Archives web site found by clicking "Archives" from the Library's Web page. The collections consist of the following:
Policy
Because of value, fragility, rarity, or uniqueness, these materials do not circulate and use is restricted to the archives reading room. Permission for use is granted on a case-by-case basis.
The Archives Reading Room is open to researchers at least 40 hours per week and the hours are posted at the entrance to the Archives. Call 7-2508 or refer to the Library Web page, click on "About the Library" and then "Hours" for the regular operating hours and operating hours during breaks, between semesters, and summer hours.
Duplicate copies of archival material may be made only by Library personnel. Requests for copies are to be made with the Archives assistant.
Procedure
