13.3.2. Loan Periods and Renewals

13.3.2.1. Faculty, Staff, Graduate and Research, and Teaching Assistants

Policy

Borrowers must have a valid Tech Express Card or Courtesy Card in order to check out Library materials. Library materials are available for loan as follows:

Loaned Item	Loan Period	Renewal
Books	17 weeks Subject to recall after 3 weeks if sought by another borrower.	17 weeks (3 renewals)
Periodicals	3 days	3 days (3 renewals)

Procedure

Renewals are generated automatically through e-mail. To renew a book, periodical, or other Library material, do the following:

When an e-mail message from the Library reminding of the due date is received, press the "reply" key and request a renewal.

History
Prior:	08/20/2001 10/28/2002	deleted Other Library Materials and the loan period and renewal
Adopted:	12/12/2002	deleted the loan period for all patrons for books and the one week renewal for books
