Educational Technology Services (ETS): A unit of Information Technology (IT) which distributes instructional resources, manages the electronic display system, produces educational media, distance learning delivery, and provides satellite/video teleconferencing for the University community.
Instructional Resources: A service of Educational Technology Services which provides faculty, staff, and students with a wide variety of audio/visual equipment. IR takes reservations, delivers, and sets up A/V equipment for academic use; equipment for classroom use has first priority.
Refer to the listing of Instructional Resources equipment and electronic lecture halls to see what is available <http://www.ets.mtu.edu/>.
When possible, Instructional Resources will supply operators for the equipment, or will train the user in its proper operation. Twenty-four (24) hour advance notice is preferred and there is no charge for instructional use of A/V equipment on campus. For information on possible charges for non-academic use of equipment or services, see the ETS Rate Sheet available on the Web site <http://www.ets.mtu.edu/ratesheet.html>.
