10.3.5. Test Scoring


Definition

Test Scoring: Electronically scored test processing.


General Information

The electronically scored tests can be stored and combined to use as a total score tracing (progress) device and to assist in determining final grades.

Reports that can be generated are an item analysis, score distribution, grade distribution, histogram, individual response, error log, student roster by name, student roster without name, cumulative scores in grade book, and cumulative histogram of grade book. These reports can be printed or done electronically.


Procedure

To have test scores processed, do the following:

  1. Complete the test scoring request sheet, available from DS by calling 7-2265 or from the DS Web site <http://dsrv.ops.it.mtu.edu/>, or fill out the form at Data Solutions.


  2. Bring completed test sheets and answer key(s) to room 217 of the Administration and Student Services Building.
