Engineering Council

General Education Committee
Charge: Monitor the University General Education Program on behalf of the College of Sciences and Arts, initiating changes if needed, and responding to changes and modifications proposed by other units.


Pre-Medical Science Advisory Committee
Charge:
  1. Provide academic advising and personal counseling services for students in pre-medical and preparamedical sciences.
  2. Advise the University concerning curricular policy in pre-medical and preparamedical sciences.
  3. Evaluate and prepare recommendations for candidates for admission to professional schools.


Promotion and Tenure Committee
Charge: Review and recommend action on faculty promotion and tenure cases.

Appointments, Promotion, and Tenure Committee
Charge: Make recommendations regarding appointments, promotion, and tenure issues. Review and recommend revisions, when necessary, appointments, promotion, and tenure procedures and criteria to the faculty of SBEA.


Computer Committee
Charge: Oversee operation of SBE's Computing and Educational Technology Center; make recommendations to the Dean on major computer hardware and software purchases.


External Affairs Committee
Charge: Develop and maintain external relationships with SBEA constituents.


Strategic Planning
Charge: Develop a school strategic plan.


Teaching and Professional Development
Charge: Develop policies to encourage the enhancement of teaching and professional development.
