Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
Reports to: Executive Director, Compliance, Integrity, and Safety
Charge: Oversee all aspects of the responsible use of animals in university research and instructional activities. The IACUC reviws protocols, and the animal care and use program, and monitors related activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
Membership: Faculty, staff, veterinarian, and community representatives.

Institutional Bio Safety Committee
Reports to: Executive Director, Compliance, Integrity, and Safety
Charge: Review, approve the initiation of, and conduct continuing review of research involving recombinant DNA. Provide risk assessments and guidance and assistance on matters such as animal and plant research containment facilities and the use of infectious agents.
Membership: Faculty, staff, and community representatives.
