The Office of the Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the President. The Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Board of Control is responsible for University investments, financial reporting, and for overseeing all accounting functions of the University, including travel, accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and cashiers, purchasing and the property office. The Chief Financial Officer is also an officer of the Board of Control as its treasurer and also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Michigan Tech Fund and reports directly to the President of the Michigan Tech Fund. The Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Operations is responsible for directing the finance and administrative operations of the Michigan Tech Fund, specifically in the areas of finance, investments, accounting, budget, gift reporting and receipting, scholarships, general office staff and human resources.
