3.18. Workweek

The basic work week of Michigan Technological University is 40 hours for all personnel including members of the administrative and teaching staff, subject to the following exceptions:

1. Part-time employees who by definition are employed to work less than 40 hours per week.
   
   
2. Personnel who are assigned and scheduled work by their department head or supervisor which requires a greater than 40 hour workweek.
   
   
3. Personnel who need additional time in excess of 40 hours per week to complete a given project.
