The following sets forth the two alternative arrangements for field and inspection trips, the attendant relative responsibilities for each:
Any field or inspection trip for which the University arranges and provides transportation shall have a University faculty member or representative in charge who shall be responsible for the execution of the trip.
When laboratory or field work is scheduled at an off-campus location, students shall be responsible for transportation to and from the site. The University shall not be responsible for any cost or damage incurred in such assignments.
