A Division of Public Services is established at Michigan Technological University to make available adult education offerings by means of courses, conferences and seminars, both on and off the campus, in the engineering practical arts, science, forestry practical arts, and in any other field of benefit to the industries and inhabitants of the State. The Division will be under the direction of the Director of the Department of Education and Public Services accountable and responsible to the Dean of Special Academic Programs.
