10.3.5. Refunds for Scholarships

For students who are entitled to partial refunds of tuition, any such refund shall be made to the originating scholarship account, according to the University financial aid refund policy.

10/07/2003 For Michigan Community College Scholarships changed applicants must be attending or have attended a Michigan community college; awards are based on academic achievement for a maximum of 6 semesters of undergraduate study; extensions would not be extended beyond 8 semesters; and scholarship is renewable to students who maintain 2.50 GPA as of the end of each spring semester.
08/04/2005 Phase out of the Board of Control Scholarship program.
Adopted: 09/28/2006 Changed MTU Scholar Award and award maximum of $600 each year for books and supplies to MTU Leading Scholar Award and $1,000 annual stipend.
