About The Organization
The Douglass Houghton Student Chapter of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors is located in Houghton, Michigan, USA on the campus of Michigan Technological University. Our bylaws are available here.
The purpose of the DHSC is:
- to promote common good and welfare of its members in their activities of the profession of surveying,
- to promote and maintain the high standards of professional practices, academic achievement, and ethics,
- to promote uniformity of practice,
- to discourage unethical and illegal practices and professional abuses,
- to promote public faith and dependence in services rendered by members of this organization,
- to extend and supplement the means and objectives of this Society.
